Botox Applications

Botox, ”Clostridium,” is a toxin used to treat facial wrinkles and excessive sweating obtained from the bacterium “botulinum.” Thanks to Botox, moving wrinkles in the area between the eyebrows, forehead, and around the eyes can be controlled. Experienced doctors must do Botox injections.

In which areas can it be done?

Masseter Botox is used to reduce the contraction of the muscles near the junction of the upper and lower jaws in people with teeth grinding and excessive clenching. For people whose gums are visible when they smile, except for areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes (this is the case with teeth gums and it is called a gummy smile) is applied to the junction of the upper lip and nose to reduce the appearance of the gums. At the same time, these people have angular facial features, and an image called a “Square Face” is formed. With Botox, a more oval face is obtained in these people. Thus, both the clenching of the teeth of the person is reduced, and the loss of the tooth roots and tension headaches are reduced.

How long does a Botox application take?

Botox process is completed in a short time, like 10-15 minutes. It usually takes ten days to take its final form. Botox begins to show its effect approximately 48 hours after the application.

Can Botox be repeated?

Although the upper face and neck applications vary depending on the activity of the muscle, they are generally effective between 3 and 6 months. The same can be said for a gummy smile and masseter botox. In anti-sweating treatments, botox is effective between 8 and 16 months.

Lip filler

Lip augmentation can eliminate the problem of asymmetry, thinness, and inequality between the lower and upper lips. Thickening of the lips can be achieved. In this process, the hyaluronic acid substance is used. Previously applied collagen has been preferred because the allergic problems encountered in injections are not seen with hyaluronic acid. It has a long-term wrinkle-reducing effect and restores the skin’s water-holding ability. Hyaluronic acid is also used in correcting deep wrinkles on the face and correcting deep scars.

How is the application made?

Before the procedure, anesthetic cream is applied to the lips. It takes about 20 minutes for the cream to take effect. After the lip becomes numb, the hyaluronic acid-based filler is injected with fine-tipped needles. The application takes about 10-15 minutes. It is a great advantage that it can be done quickly and the result can be obtained immediately. Its permanence is between 6-8 months. Therefore, it needs repetition.

What should you pay attention to next?

The redness and swelling that develops after the application resolve in 1-2 hours. There may be swelling that lasts for 24 hours after the application. It is possible to obtain a natural appearance when an experienced specialist performs the procedure.

Under Eye Light Filling

The under-eye light filling is a procedure that provides solutions for grooves, depressions, bags on the lower eyelid, and dark circles between the cheeks and under the eyes. Fillers with hyaluronic acid are preferred in practice. In light filling, hyaluronic acid and other vitamins, minerals, and active antioxidant substances act together. While eight amino acids, which enter the collagen structure in the light filling, form raw materials for collagen production, three antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals defend the skin against external factors.

How is the application made?

Under-eye filler is applied with fine needles or fine cannulas. The light filling shows its effect by spreading homogeneously to the area where it is given. It is a process of about 15 minutes. It is possible to see the result immediately after the filling is applied. Since redness and bruising are almost not seen, the person can quickly return to his daily life.

How many sessions are applied?

The light filling can be done in a single session or applied in more than one session, depending on the patient’s condition. As a result, the light filling is an application that gives vitality and brightness to the skin, as the name suggests. Its effect lasts for about a year.

Cheek filling

Cheeks and cheekbones form an essential part of the face. Depending on age and time, there is a significant volume loss on the cheeks. Again, in some people, the cheeks may have a sunken appearance. This causes the person to look tired. On the other hand, it is also possible to define the cheekbones as a contour. With the filler used for the cheeks, depressions and wrinkles on the skin are reduced, and a better appearance is achieved. The filling applied to the cheekbone also helps recovery by creating a lift on the face.

How is it applied?

The most commonly used product as a filler is hyaluronic acid. It is applied in a short time of about 15-30 minutes after light anesthesia with creams. The filler in the injector is injected under the skin.

How long does the effect last?

Depending on the nature of the filler used and the skin structure of the person, the effect lasts for an average of 12-16 months.

Nasolabial Filler

The groove that starts from the wings of the nose and extends to the corners of the mouth is called the nasolabial line/groove. With the advancing age, it has become much more pronounced. The nasolabial filling application can be made alone or with other areas filling applications.

How is it applied?

To avoid pain, anesthetic cream is applied to the area before the application. It injects hyaluronic acid under the skin with fine-tipped needles or blunt cannulas. The effect of the application is immediately visible. The process takes about 15-20 minutes.

When is the effect seen?

Although the effect of the application appears immediately, it is seen that it is more effective within 3-4 days. The effect of the nasolabial filling application continues for approximately 9-18 months.
